NOVENTI OPEN 2021

After the pandemic-related break last year, Germany's most important ATP tennis tournament - the NOVENTI OPEN - returned from June 12 to 20, 2021. This year, the world's best tennis players met again in Halle (Westphalia) and fought for the coveted title. Among them were the top players on the ATP Tour - including Grand Slam record winner Roger Federer, German ATP champion and Olympic champion Alexander "Sascha" Zverev and world number two Daniil Medvedev. With the first match point after 87 minutes, Ugo Humbert surprisingly secured his first ATP 500 title win.

Chairman of the Board of NOVENTI Health SE, Dr. Hermann Sommer: "It was impressive what we saw in terms of sport. But equally impressive was how this tournament overcame the Corona challenge with a strong hygiene concept. I thank everyone who contributed. When we meet here again in 2022, I hope it will be to a full stadium."

The appeal of the NOVENTI OPEN was also reflected in the massive TV presence across all continents: The matches were broadcast in more than 150 countries and in Germany the broadcast time totaled 85 hours on the Eurosport and ZDF channels.

Launch of the NOVENTI e-prescription Lounge

The surcharge for the e-prescription was first applied at the NOVENTI Open with our NOVENTI e-prescription Lounge. The main purpose was to get in touch with our customers and to exchange information about the future of German healthcare in general and the introduction of the e-prescription in particular. Furthermore, we continued this successful project at expopharm 2019 from 25 to 28 September in Düsseldorf. At our stand we showed how to support pharmacies with our services and technologies relating to the e-prescription – some of which are already in use today – in such a way that you and your local pharmacy benefit from the system changeover and the introduction of the e-prescription becomes our personal recipe for success.
