NOVENTI takes a stand and joins FC Bayern Munich “Reds against Racism” initiative

Right now, showing solidarity is more important than ever. More and more companies are taking responsibility and speaking out on social issues. NOVENTI Health SE, one of the leading companies in the healthcare market, is also supporting FC Bayern München in its “Reds Against Racism” initiative, which was launched by the football club in 2020. This year, during the International Weeks against Racism from 14 to 27 March, Germany’s record-holding champions will once again be tackling this issue with various campaigns. As the official health partner of FC Bayern München, NOVENTI endorses this initiative against violence and marginalisation.

“Racism has no place in our society. Not in healthcare, sports or anywhere else,” explains Dr. Hermann Sommer, Chair of the Board of NOVENTI. “That’s why we at NOVENTI stand behind FC Bayern München’s campaign and are committed to working with the club on this highly important issue. NOVENTI shares these values and we consider it our duty to speak out and take a stand against racism. This is also something our customers expect from us.” On March 19th the NOVENTI logo was displayed at the FC Bayern München home match against Union Berlin at the Allianz Arena.

Through annual campaigns like this one, FC Bayern München is raising awareness of racism as a social issue and taking a clear stand against it. NOVENTI is offering its full support to the club in its anti-racism work and is proud to be a partner in addressing this important issue.

In February this year, NOVENTI and FC Bayern München entered into an exclusive health partnership; since then, the two organisations have already made a joint contribution to the fight against the coronavirus pandemic through campaigns such as the opening of the NOVENTI-FC Bayern pharmacy. This partnership demonstrates the close ties between the worlds of healthcare and sport, and how companies can use their broad sphere of influence in a meaningful way to improve social welfare and togetherness, for example, in the fight against racism.
